This is Maeda Point, a fun place to hike. The rock here is extremely sharp and "craggy" if that is a word. But, it is beautiful.

Notice the reef starts and the islands are cut on the bottom by the wave's. The water on the ocean side of the reef is really blue, where the water on the shore side is "angry".

Would have been a fun jump...maybe later!

We also got to go to a "jungle adventure" with some crazy zip lines and lots of obstacles to rope into and swing around on. Below is a snippet of the fun times.

Number 2

I figured that it was time to put a post up about Noah, since Jake seems to be getting all the attention lately between kindergarten and teeth falling out (yep, he lost another one today). Anyways, on tuesday nights Noah plays soccer with the YMCA. I can't say that he loves it, but I am seeing improvement for sure. On his first night he didn't want to play with girls. Problem, since they make up half of his team. The second night he cried because "nobody would give him a turn"! Tonight was better though. He was spurred on because TWICE he broke away with the ball. Both times it was a clear shot for the goal. The first time he ran over the ball and came crying to the sidelines. After a pep talk (from me) he headed back out. On his second break-away he was so close - his shot bounced off the goal post. But, he didn't cry!! As I watched him I realized that he might have some skill in this sport. That, however, is a total guess on my part since I am not the soccer player in the family! He ended up content with the fact that he was close to scoring and has now declared that he likes playing soccer. Good, since we're not even halfway into the season! Such a big boy he's becoming!

Jacob and Noah, this is the continental shelf off the western side of Okinawa. There were lot's of fishies swimming with us and there were bigger fish further down. If you look closely, you can see the bottom of the sea floor. We had a lot of fun swimming around and exploring; my buddy had on a scuba suit so he could stay under-water for a while. I stepped on one of these crazy "urchins" and it stuck into my foot, but I didn't get hurt as bad as Jake leg when he stepped on the Oyster shell and had to go to the doctor. Love you boy's and thank Mom for the camera, again!

Big day!

For our new kindergartner. He said that he liked it and tonight when I told him to do something he said "yes ma'am". Wow!! This school stuff is gonna pay off (I know all you critics are going to tell me that it won't last, but just let me have my moment. :)!

Smile!

Guess who lost his first tooth! I remember when it first came in :(
