Jumping ahead

Okay, so we are here now! Here are some pictures of our new area. Brian's parents came with our other car. It was great to spend some time with them and do some exploring. We saw our first alligator! So far we are liking it here, although it is not an easy town to get around and I have been lost 10,000 times. I'm sure I'll figure it out eventually... We found a local lighthouse and the boys and I dipped our toes in the atlantic ocean for the first time. Wow, the coasts are different!! But it is pretty here, and I think we are really going to like it. We would love some visitors (hint, hint!).

Kansas

Okay, so I had more pictures than I thought! Mid-trip we stopped in Kansas for a few days to see Brian's fam. and to get a break from the car. It was great to spend time with family. We hiked, swam, played games and laughed. Just the break we needed! Jake and Noah had fun playing with Josh and Lo (and babi and dedo!). We are so thankful to have such great family!

Road Trip

On our first day of travel we stopped at the grand canyon for some hiking. Isn't it beautiful there? This was probably the only day of our road trip that I took pictures, so I will be jumping ahead in the next post!! Anyways, this was the last time we really got out and stretched our legs and it was great! If you have never been to the grand canyon - go!

San Diego - part 3

Okay, this is my final post on San Diego! I must move on!! One of our favorite things we did there was going on a whale watching cruise. We went about 9 miles off the coast into the choppy water and saw humpback whales and gray whales. Every one of us loved it - we are so glad that we did it before we moved! I would recommend it to everyone!
Okay, next post will be the start of our drive (kind of!).

1st stop - San Diego. Part 2

We had to say "good-bye" to some wonderful friends. We are going to miss all of you.... One year, how many months now, Jeremy?!

1st stop - San Diego

Where to Start? Alot has happened since my last post! I will try to get you caught up over a few different posts. We moved out of our house in California and headed to San Diego to wait for Brian to finish up some training. It ended up taking him 3 weeks so the boys and I felt like we were on a 3 week vacation! We made sure we hit all of our favorite spots while we were there. Seaworld, legoland and the beach were on the top of our list. We swam at the hotel pool, played with friends and enjoyed the beautiful weather. We were almost able to forget that we were in the middle of a move! Of course, I said ALMOST.....
