Boys: Mommy, mommy look what we did! Me: What did you do? Boys: We took every toy in the play room and threw them all into a big pile! Me: Great.... (is this as deep as their creative minds go? Yikes!) :)

E & B used to do that...it's easy to dump a box of toys in a pile. The challenge is to sort them into boxes according to color, size or category (animal, car, blocks,etc) and basically they think it's a game or they end up playing with everything and you get a few free hours. Babi
we have that at our house alot too, but it seems like the clean-up is never as fun as the mess-making. Aidan's current favorite is gathering all the pillows and throw blankets from all rooms in our entire house and making a huge pile to jump on. Lots of fun, but man, we sure have alot of pillows and blankets!
you're asking for more creativity in their play time ??!! you have BOYS - be careful what you wish for. hmmmm if we remove this screw it all comes apart..... hmmmm i wonder if we could put sand in...... hmmmm what would hapen if we add.... where is the dog...... all the hardy boys needed....
