Agghh!!!

So I have plunged into the task of potty training Noah and I am frustrated!!! Jacob was so easy to potty-train since he thrives on praise and with a little encouragement was well on his way. Noah marches to the beat of his own drum and I am not sure how to motivate him. We give him all sorts of praise when he does it along with a handful of M&M's, but I am not sure that he really cares. Mostly I am posting this so that you all know that I am doing this so I will carry on - there's nothing like having some accountability. :) If anyone has any suggestions I would be happy to hear them. I will keep you posted on our progress! I currently hear jacob encouraging him to go so they can get some more M&M's! Maybe that will help.....

hmm.....no tips for potty training, but now we have the same layout! i'd take it as a complement that you wanted your blog to look just like mine, but i know there weren't many choices! maybe try gum. noah likes gum, doesn't he?

Maybe you could come with gum for him again - I am sure that would help! :)

Some boys just want to show their endurance - perhaps Noah is one of those. He may just take longer and need to get lots of praise that way. Maybe a potty chart with Cars or something will work for him. He probably also sees that Jacob doesn't have to do anything to get the M & M's so he maybe needs a special something just for him. Like the Car stickers. But I like your blog however his potty training turns out. : )
